Driving In France > 1/7/2012

If you are considering driving in France and just transiting through France to your final destination then you need to be aware of a new law that comes into effect from the 1st July 2012

From the 1/7/2012 all cars driven in France must carry a breathalyser conforming to “NF” standards. In due course these will become widely available but should you need to purchase these items in the short term Fleet Evolution are currently offering these items for sale or free with a VE103 certificate.

As of the 1 July 2012 it will be compulsory for drivers of all motor vehicles including motorcyclists, excluding mopeds to carry a breathalyser in their

vehicle while travelling in France. The breathalyser has to be a certified by the French authorities, showing an ‘NF’ number.
