Over half of HR professionals eat lunch at their desks

According to a recent report conducted by the Robert Walters Career Lifestyle Survey, 53% of those working in the HR industry do not leave their desks when taking their lunch break. Long working hours and competitive company cultures have been cited as some of the main reasons for the restricted lunch breaks.

54% of employers offer a car allowance

Employee Benefits research found that over half of employers (54%) offer a car allowance as a core benefit to staff. 29% offer a company car through outright purchase, contract hire or leasing.

Company car schemes and salary sacrifice car schemes are one of the most popular workplace savings and benefit schemes. They provide great value for money year after year.

Employers urged to register for UK Road Safety Week

Road Safety Week is held in the UK from 20-26th November 2017, which is to help raise awareness and promote safe travel, employers are being urged to register. Especially for those with staff who drive for work. The key message for this year’s campaign by charity Brake is ‘Speed Down, Save Lives’
