Fleet Company on Charity Drive

A fleet management company is offering coffee, bacon butties and cost-saving advice, all in the name of a good cause. Fleet Evolution will be opening up their Lichfield office to prospective and existing customers later this month, in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support.  The event is part of MacMillan Cancer Support’s biggest fundraising event, MacMillan’s Coffee Mornings.

Established in 1990, the event gets people across the UK to hold coffee mornings, where donations are made to MacMillan. Last year, 43,000 people signed up to hold coffee mornings, raising over £8 million.

Fleet Evolution will be providing refreshments to local businesses on Friday 30th September, starting at 7.30am, at the company’s Lichfield base, on Eastern Avenue.  Complimentary bacon butties and refreshments will be on offer for visitors until 2pm, and for every visitor that attends, Fleet Evolution will make a donation to MacMillan.

In addition, the fleet management specialist will be giving people the opportunity to see some of the newest, most fuel-efficient fleet cars and vans, and an informal discussion on new initiatives to reduce cost, improve safety and introduce cars as a salary sacrifice benefit.  Every visitor will also receive a copy of ‘Managing Your Company Cars’, by Colin Tourick.  Andrew Leech, Managing Director at Fleet Evolution, said: “We are really pleased to be hosting this event and helping to raise money for such a worthy cause.

“As well as raising much-needed funds at our coffee morning, we can also showcase our newest range of fuel-efficient fleet cars and vans and hopefully show visitors the benefits of these to their business. We hope to help MacMillan beat last year’s fantastic total raised,” added Andrew.
