Meet the Family: Jeep Avenger Electric

At long last, the electric Jeeps are with us! We’ve all been waiting a long time for these to hit the market and they’re finally here. That’s right, this is Jeep’s first all-electric vehicle and we couldn’t be more excited! It’s already won Autocar’s Best Small Car Award for 2023, so let’s take a look at the Jeep Avenger family.

Jeep Avenger Longitude

“The Longitude is the perfect choice for those who want next-level style, without compromising on technology and connectivity.” – Jeep

The Jeep Avenger Longitude is up first, the baby of the family if you will. With a price tag of £35,700 and 248 miles range (according to Jeep), it’s looking like a pretty respectable EV; you can definitely go on some longer journeys with a range like that without catching a case of range anxiety. It has an acceleration of 0-62mph in 9 seconds, with a top speed of 93mph – so it may not be the highest performance electric car, it’s a more of the middle of the road car with a range that packs a punch.

The Longitude features include automatic climate control, a 10.25” Uconnect system and digital cluster, full LED headlights, and 16” alloy wheels. You can upgrade to 17″ alloy wheels but are only available in the Tech & Style pack, which costs an additional £1,400. There are 2 further packs, the Infotainment & Convenience pack for £1,000 and the Winter pack for £350. You can see the details f the pack in the image on the right.

This model also comes in 7 solid colours, Lake (turquoise), Granite (grey), Ruby (red), Snow (white), Sun (yellow), and Volcano (black). It comes in Ruby as standard for free, but if you want to choose another colour, this costs an extra £700.

Jeep Avenger Altitude

“The new Jeep® Avenger Altitude gives you next-generation technology, eye-catching style and luxurious comfort.” – Jeep

The Altitude is the older brother in the family, coming in with a price tag from £37,400 and 244 miles range. As the battery sizes are the same in each model, we assume the acceleration will be 9 seconds too. This model comes with the same features as the Longitude, but with adaptive cruise control, 17” alloy wheels, and a hands-free power liftgate (you know, where you can swipe under the back of the car and the boot will open – cool right?).

The Altitude model has the same 7 solid colours as the Longitude but introduces “bicolour” options, which have the same colour options just with a black roof.

Jeep Avenger Summit

“The brand new Summit is the créme de la créme of the Jeep® Avenger range, equipped with a full set of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, the latest generation of infotainment and exclusive style details.” – Jeep

Here we are, the daddy of the Avenger family, the Summit. Coming in with a price tag of £39,600, it has a 245-mile range and comes with 18” alloy wheels. This model also features a 360-degree parking sensor with a rear camera. I can’t live without my reversing camera, not sure why every car doesn’t come with this as standard these days!

The Summit has just 2 solid colours, Ruby and Volcano, and the rest of the colours are offered as bicolour options.
