Lotus Eletre: Coming July 2023
Yep, unfortunately, the Eletre release has been moved back to July, but that’s okay, it just means we can expect even more excellence from the Eletre! The Lotus Eletre is a high-powered performance SUV, with the style of a sports car but the comfort of an SUV. This stunning British craftsmanship comes in 3 models; the Eletre, the Eletre S, and the Eletre R. What are we waiting for? Let’s take a look at the Lotus Eletre family.
“The all-new and all-electric Lotus Eletre is a striking and progressive Hyper SUV. It takes the core principles and Lotus DNA from almost 75 years of sports car design and engineering, evolving them into a desirable all-new lifestyle car.” – Lotus

“Optimised for all drivers, the Eletre is the perfect balance of design, technology, and performance.” – Lotus
The base model is the Lotus Eletre, but don’t be fooled, this is still one impressive motor! It has an electric range of 373 miles and a top speed of 160mph. The acceleration of the Eletre family rivals the kings in the EV world, with a 0-62mph of just 4.5 seconds. As this is a From £89,500
Lotus Eletre S
“Take your driving experience to the next level with enhanced audio, aerodynamics, and practical features.”
The middle child in the family is the Lotus Eletre S. With the same range of 373 miles, acceleration of 4.5 seconds, and a top speed of 160mph. However, this model has a price tag of £104,500. So, what sets the 2 apart for the jump in price? According to Lotus, it’s the “enhanced audio, aerodynamics, and practical features”, which relate to the additional features of:
- Choice of coloured brake callipers
- Gloss black aluminium roof with roof rails
- 22″ 10 spoke grey diamond turned forged alloy wheels
- soft door close
- Active rear spoiler
- Configurable ambient lighting
- KEF Reference Audio (2160w with 23 speakers)
Lotus Eletre R
“For drivers who demand the ultimate performance, Eletre R unleashes the full potential of electric drive technology.”
Here’s the real kicker, the Lotus Eletre R. Although having a lower range with just 304 expected miles, the acceleration makes up for it, having a 0-62mph of just 2.95 seconds! That would make this vehicle one of the fastest accelerating electric vehicles, coming just behind the Aspark Owl (0-62mph in 1.89s) and the Porsche Taycan (0-62mph in 2.8 seconds).
It also has a top speed of 165mph, just 5 more than the others, but also rocks a price tag of £120,000 – nice and cheap really… The Lotus Eletre R has multiple upgrades to justify this price (along with the acceleration), including:
- 675kW dual motor
- 2-speed transmission
- Additional drive mode
- Lotus Dynamic Handling Pack
- 22” 10-spoke gloss black forged alloys
- Performance tyres – Pirelli P-Zero CORSA 275/40 (frt) 315/35 (rr) tyres
- Black Pack
- Soft door close
- Rear Privacy glass
- Active rear spoiler
- Illuminated side sills
The Eletre EVs have 668 litres of boot space and 46 litres of front storage, with the ability to drop the rear seats for 1,532 litres of storage; you’ll never have enough things to fill this car with! Along with the large range, this might be the perfect car for longer journeys, staycations, and even business trips. Why not find out more about our salary sacrifice scheme here and see how it can benefit your business? We predict the Eletre well cost around £1,000 /month through the scheme, but for luxury and convenience, why not?
This Eletre family is also set to be the SUV of the year, so we know you won’t be disappointed with this one. Want to find out more about the Eletre in-depth? Head over to their website here, or request your login and get quoting on the Eletre when it comes out in May!
