Arrival’s Mission

Arrival started life in 2015. Arrival aims to solely build electric vans and buses by reducing our reliance on cars and cutting emissions. There are an estimated 90 million commercial freight vehicles currently on the road across the globe. Studies have found that almost all of these vehicles are diesel-powered and cause significant harm to the natural environment.

According to figures from research company IDTechEx, these vehicles accounted for almost 2,000 tonnes of CO2 in 2018, equating to roughly five per cent of global CO2 emissions alone, showing the magnitude of the problem that Arrival is looking to tackle.

The global Covid-19 pandemic amplified our reliance on home deliveries. So, the demand for transit and transporter vans will soar as we move towards 2022.
