Driving in past times used to be fun,
Clear country roads, a life on the run.
But traffic arrives and with it came,
Pollution and smog to drive you insane.
Cities were closed off to all but those green,
Diesel price rises are simply obscene.
Performance is flat, cabins are cluttered,
On cold mornings, the engine spluttered.
But then I found you, my Electric Dream.
My employer loves me, they gave me the scheme,
